No one knows you, like you know yourself. That’s where self-concept comes in; it’s ones knowledge about oneself. Some individuals have much stronger self-concepts than others, because possessing a self-conception in much detail requires reflection on one’s own self and behavior. It’s not all about knowing who are, it’s about understanding too.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see an image of yourself that you’d alter if you could? Have you ever stop and look what’s inside of you, instead what’s in front of you? Don’t put your main focus on what other people think about you, but instead focus on what you think of yourself as an individual. Everybody was not created to be the same. So don’t be afraid to be different.
One thing I learned a long time ago is that, nobody is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes. You have to understand that your mistakes don’t define who you are. It’s all about learning from them and not making the same mistakes again. Just know who you are, understand it, and be proud of it.
